LYLA was built because too many women were falling through the gaps of an overstretched system. We wanted to change that — without the waiting rooms.
Why LYLA exists
In the UK, getting contraception through a GP can mean waiting weeks for an appointment, explaining yourself to a receptionist, and navigating a system that was never designed with your schedule in mind.
LYLA was created to close that gap. Partnering with Inspire Pharmacy, we built a modern, judgment-free service designed around real women's lives — whether you're completely new to contraception or managing a long-term prescription.
Every consultation is free, confidential, and delivered by GPhC-registered clinicians. Because access to contraceptive care shouldn't depend on how much time you have, or how comfortable you feel walking into a waiting room.
