About this service

LYLA is a free NHS-commissioned contraceptive care service available to eligible UK residents, operated in partnership with Inspire Pharmacy (GPhC Reg: 2069392).

Eligibility

This service is available to UK residents only. You must be aged 13 or over. Clinical suitability is assessed at consultation — we reserve the right to decline a prescription where clinically appropriate.

The consultation

Online consultations are conducted by GPhC or NMC registered clinicians. Consultations are clinical appointments, not a guaranteed prescription. Our clinicians exercise independent clinical judgment.

Free service

All consultations, approved prescriptions, and UK delivery are free to eligible patients under our NHS commissioning agreement. This is subject to change if commissioning arrangements change — we will give reasonable notice.

Confidentiality

All consultations are confidential. We do not contact your GP without your explicit consent, except where we have a legal or clinical duty to do so.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information during your consultation. Providing false information may result in an unsafe prescription. You are responsible for taking medication as directed.

Limitation of liability

LYLA and Inspire Pharmacy are not liable for harm arising from inaccurate information provided by the patient. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by UK law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
